Brief Description
The JP focuses on transforming agri-food systems by aligning with Jordan's UN Food Systems Pathway and National Food Security Strategy. It aims to enhance the Government's capacity to implement these plans effectively through three main components.
The joint programme titled 'Transforming Jordan's Agri-food System toward Greater Sustainability and Resilience' aims to enhance food security and build a sustainable food supply in Jordan by addressing food insecurity, climate change, and the inclusion of women, youth, and refugees through a holistic approach and capacity building for the government.
