The program focuses on strengthening agricultural markets in Ethiopia to enhance resilience and transform food systems. It addresses commercialization challenges by improving food system governance, market linkages, and produce quality, benefiting 2,200 farmers, including 20 women’s groups and one youth group, while engaging 80 market associations. The initiative collaborates with key ministries and regional institutions, aiming to empower vulnerable communities and support women and youth. Overall, it significantly contributes to advancing Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in reducing poverty and enhancing food security.
