Bridging the digital health divide
Brief Description
The joint programme titled 'Bridging the digital health divide' aims to strengthen Kyrgyzstan’s digital health information system by enhancing equal quality healthcare provision, promoting inclusive service delivery, and increasing access to quality primary healthcare services for rural and remote populations, particularly mothers and children.
The programme strengthens Kyrgyzstan's digital health information system to enhance equitable healthcare access, particularly for vulnerable populations. It integrates digital health services, promoting inclusive healthcare and improving access to primary healthcare for mothers and children in remote areas. The initiative directly benefits 700,000 children, 280,000 individuals qualifying for sick leave, over 140,000 newborns and mothers, and 120,000 people with disabilities. By improving health data access and service delivery, the programme significantly advances climate resilience and contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
