The joint programme focuses on enhancing productivity and extending social protection for vulnerable populations in Nepal, particularly women, youth, and informal workers. It implements key actions such as improving policy coherence, capacity development, and evidence generation to support strategic programmes like On-the-Job training and Microenterprise Development. The initiative reaches approximately 1,000 workers, with at least 60% being women and youth, and aims to strengthen national policies for decent job creation and social protection. Overall, it significantly contributes to advancing Sustainable Development Goals by promoting inclusive economic growth and enhancing climate resilience.
