Governance
The Strategic Advisory Group, co-chaired by the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General and Chair of the UNSDG, provides leadership and strategic direction to the Fund. Strategic Advisory Group membership is comprised of representatives from fifteen Member States (rotational), and observers from the private sector and civil society.
The Operational Steering Committee is chaired by UNDP, UNFPA, WFP, UNICEF, ILO, WFP, DCO and the MPTFO act as observers.

The Strategic Advisory Group is the overarching high-level mechanism that provides leadership, vision and strategic direction. Chaired by the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General and Chair of the UNSDG, the committee is composed of representatives from fifteen Member States (rotational), and observers from the private sector and civil society.
Operational Steering Committee
Under the direction of the Strategic Advisory Group, the Operational Steering Committee ensures effective and efficient management and coordination of operational and technical aspects of the UN Joint SDG Fund. The Operational Steering Committee will ensure that the UN Joint SDG Fund remains fast and light and able to respond to country needs through Resident Coordinators and UNCTs, in a timely way. The following UN entities are currently providing the technical leadership against the seven SDG transformations stipulated in the Fund Strategy 2023-2026:
