The summit will showcase SDG investment opportunities, both in Kenya and the African continent, and present the role and trends across various players in the wider investment ecosystem. The objective is to generate support for the UN’s catalytic role in financing the SDGs. It is expected to be the first in a series of global summits between UN partners, member states and other stakeholders, to examine, define and build support for specific initiatives and investment vehicles that can drive increased UN action in helping countries finance their development.
